Balance Associates Architects

Located in both Seattle and Eastern Washington, Balance Associates creates custom residences in urban and remote locations around the country. Taking time to explore client goals and functional requirements, we create homes that fit well within their environment and have a modern sensibility. In addition to traditional site-built homes, Balance has extensive experience with design for pre-fabricated construction which can significantly reduce construction time and cost.

Central to Balance Associates' process is the significance of uniting the building with its site. Each of our projects begins with a thorough site survey and analysis to determine views and solar orientation as well as document distinct site features. Findings from this investigation, as well as the client's program, inform the unique design of each home.

With every project it is our desire to balance client goals, site sensitivity, and climatic response to create a high quality home that is both beautiful and functional.
