David Small Designs

David launched the firm in 1996. Initially it was a one-man, home-based operation. With increased demand for his unique designs, David hired design associates and an office manager and built an award-winning custom office for his team.

DSD has grown continuously and is now a collaborative team of 12 individuals who share a deep respect for each other and an unwavering commitment to providing exceptional service to each and every David Small Designs client.

With over 1000 projects to date, David Small Designs has become an award winning custom home design firm that specializes in doing one thing better than anyone else – designing the perfect home for each of our clients. We work closely with you to determine your needs and those of your family and turn those into a home that is not only your beautiful sanctuary but a functional, practical masterpiece. We truly believe that a well-designed building is a work of art. This is reflected in David’s exemplary use of timeless architectural qualities: proportion, scale, texture, colour and light.
