Warm in the Wood: Country home located in a remote island in archipelago has a warm and inviting interior

Suspended over a bed of autumn leaves on a small hill, this lovely country home is located on the aptly named Windows, an island in the archipelago of Stockholm, Sweden. The house stands on a ridge of tall, verdant green trees and has black wooden exterior and metal railings that surround the terrace area. Just like the name of the island, the house also has an abundance of windows that allows a flood of warming light to enter in, making the interior appear bright and airy. The Project creators, Max Holst Arkitektkontor, have designed a lovely, cosy interior for this house by using wooden panelling on the walls, ceilings and floors as well as using wooden furniture to finish off the whole design.
