Urban Modernism: Huge house based in Mexico City has modern and quirky characteristics

Nestled in the urban areas of Mexico City, Mexico, this wonderfully geometric construction is the work of Almazán Arquitectos Asociados. The outside has a stunningly bright white exterior with a very traditional red slated roof at the top of the house. One of the really quirky features of this house is the use of the balcony and exterior panels. The designers have used this space to plant bright flowers and green shrubbery which looks really elegant and fun against the modern glass windows. Inside, the interior uses huge amounts of wood to give each room a warm and inviting feel, whist also injecting really bright colours into some of the rooms to brighten them up and add a quirky element to the whole design.
