Truly Textured: Beautiful apartment has wonderful combinations of raw materials as focal walls

Truly Textured: Beautiful apartment has wonderful combinations of raw materials as focal walls

This 120 square meter apartment is a wonderful mixture of different textures and materials that have been combined together in a modern and simplistic way. Located on the ground floor of a triplex in Montreal, France project co-ordinator Anne Sophie Goneau has created a naturally light and airy living space that draws attention to the raw materials that have been used. Each room has its own unique focal point, the most prominent one being the focal walls that are part of many of the rooms. The brick wall in the living area and the wooden wall in the dining area, give the apartment character and dynamism. The furniture is simple, yet elegant and the gloss black kitchen is a real focal point against the white walls. Fotos courtesy Adrien Williams.
