Texas Home Makes Creative Use of Space

Texas Home Makes Creative Use of Space

20 October, 2013  |  Living Room

In Texas, everything is bigger and better, and this home designed by Cornerstone Architects is no exception. Through wood, stone and brick, elements of the great outdoors have been translated into easy home living. Accent walls are juxtaposed in front of large windows, partially blocking the view. Vivid reds and deep wines rest easily against neutral grays. The softly lit dining area reveals a white table and chair set. Wood paneled walls, marble floors and two low hanging white chandeliers are used to top off the design. The large, open kitchen houses Art Deco inspired chairs, a breakfast bar and cool gray cabinets. These designs are more contemporary than Texan, but when combined with nature, they work perfectly well together.
