Take a Step Back in Time: Contemporary house has modernistic and geometric styling, with character patterns in each room

This fantastic house is located in Brentwood, California, USA and is oozing full of character, with the main feature on the outside of the house being the large glistening pool and painted white bars that are reminiscent of a cruise ships styling. Surprisingly the house was built 45 years ago for the Romanian-American architect Haralamb H Georgescu, and was overhauled fairly recently. The originality of this design still lives on, with the exterior of this house pretty much untouched. The project was undertaken and implemented by Kurt Krueger Architects in cooperation with Rhino Construction Inc. The interior of this house is simple, fairly compact yet comes across as being spacious and large and has slight echoes of a cruise ship on both the outside and the inside of the house. The white walls, rich wooden flooring, metal banisters and pale wooden inserts really add to its ship like charm.
