With incredible character, and an utterly impeccable design, this luxurious Mediterranean home was designed by Ownby Design and is located in a lovely estate in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. The exterior of the house has been decorated with brown stone which gives it both a natural and interesting texture. This space was intended for rest and relaxation whilst providing the owners with a spacious place to invite their friends. Inhabited by two contemporary artists, Whipple Russell Architects was hired to help the artistic couple to realize both of their conflicting set of dreams. Built out of stucco and painted in a warm tone, series of rectangles and squares appear in the form of rows of windows, archways, verandas and cutouts. The landscaping was obviously inspired by the desert, with sturdy plants growing in the middle of the walkway. Read more
