Swank Apartment in Tel Aviv

Swank Apartment in Tel Aviv

While the architect that designed this apartment obviously had a lot of fun, some of the rounded details included in the walls and the floors actually help the space to be more functional. Instead of the walls and the floors meeting at a 90 degree angle, wood boards have been rounded, warped and shaped to create gentle contours. A work desk is connected into one of these curved walls near the kitchen. Rounded metal supports match the white, modern office chairs. A large, white, custom bookshelf boasts rounded corners and storage drawers. Attached to the ceiling by way of a medium sized column at the center, the bookshelf can be rotated to close off the room or simply for easier access.
