Rehabbed San Diego Apartment Takes on Scandinavian Flair

Rehabbed San Diego Apartment Takes on Scandinavian Flair

6 November, 2013  |  Apartment Interior

Fashionable apartments have long been highly coveted in San Diego, but this original John Lum Architecture creation takes European influence to new heights. One notable feature includes hardwood paneled ceilings in the living area. A sleek and sophisticated headboard appears in the master bedroom. Coarse, natural looking fabric has been tightly woven around a wooden frame, giving the headboard depth and texture. A pitch black, metallic hearth runs from floor to ceiling, surrounded by bay windows, several reclining chairs, an end table stacked high with knick knacks a couch and a pastel blue area rug. A cool grayish blue tone is used in the kitchen, with black, white and stainless steel as accents. The kitchen features an espresso maker and a white tea kettle on the stove, giving off the solid idea that this San Diego apartment is not just for show.
