Refreshing Open Apartment Based on Green Living

Refreshing Open Apartment Based on Green Living

27 November, 2013  |  Exterior, House Interior

Not only is this Melbourne based apartment physically green in appearance, it also supports eco-friendly living. An open balcony features a small dining area and grill that sits directly next to a plot of grass. Exposed brick walls appear outside and in. Created by Splinter Society Architecture, visitors are immediately taken in by each one of this apartment’s delightful details. The kitchen cabinets fit together like the pieces of a puzzle. Each cabinet door has been shaped to fit into the accompanying door perfectly, just like the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. Intricately designed accent walls form unique partitions in the home office, where a conference table and work area also rest. Interesting shapes lead to innovative designs in this contemporary Melbourne apartment.
