Modern Moscow House with Lush Green Lawn

Modern Moscow House with Lush Green Lawn

23 November, 2013  |  Exterior, House Interior

The bright green lawn has been trimmed down to less than an inch high, contrasting nicely with the light gray exterior of this Moscow house. A concrete car, beige and white garage and abstract metal accents give the home character and visual points of interest. Out of the low wood deck that appears toward the middle of the home grows three trees. Large holes have been bored strategically so that the grand trees can continue to grow uninhibited. Near the edges of each room on the lower level appears small collections of round pebbles. Not normally seen within the interior of a home, this elements helps to create a cohesive bond between the outside and inside. The interior designer has used strong lights, dimensional illusions and the manipulation of space to etch out a unique design scheme. Designed by Za Bor Architects.
