Kitschy Modern Home in Australia

Kitschy Modern Home in Australia

Multiple outdoor sitting areas in the yard of this home feature overflowing foliage and creative designs. Textured metal sheeting has been roughly painted with green hues, matching the plants and leaves around it perfectly. In the living room, the couch and matching chair come in an unusually busy pattern. On top of the woven wicker coffee table sits a delicate baby blue teapot and pasty pink teacup. A multicolored beaded curtain separates the main kitchen space from the eating area. The breakfast bench comes topped with an intricately yet crudely silkscreen printed cushion. A few leaves sit in vases on top of the otherwise bare kitchen table. This colorful, original, kitschy, unique homes comes courtesy of David Boyle Architect.
