Introducing ‘The Zinc House’

Introducing ‘The Zinc House’

12 November, 2013  |  Exterior, House Interior

The interior of the Zinc House is minimalist, and it’s purpose is clear. Created by Jose Garcia Design, the Zinc House represents a snapshot of how an ideal family will live. Using bold colors to define each separate space, ideas can start on one floor and end on another. The very center of the house is open to the top floor. Orange, blue, re and black appear on different walls. Skylights, beams and rails are exposed on the ceiling, and light drips down from above. Where there aren’t colorful walls, huge windows let in light and beautiful landscapes. A single couch, two chairs and a table in a sitting room are muted by the color of the leaves changing in the background.
