It screams dynamism; it echoes geometry and shines modernity. This house is a truly magnificent creation that embodies everything that makes it contemporary. Situated on Fire Island, New York, USA, this house was designed by SPG Architects and compromises of three intersecting rectilinear floors harmoniously stacked upon each other to create a unique shape and structure. The vertical wooden slats create the first floor of the house, the central wooden construction contains the bedrooms and bathrooms while the upper metal floor contains a spacious and comfortable open plan living space that has beautiful views of the water. Inside, the interior is modern and neutral with a delicate sprinkling of colour that really adds a unique touch to the overall design.
