The famous phrase states that good things come in small packages, and this is certainly a small package. French architectural firm Loic Picquet Architecte completed restoration and decoration projects of this old house in the city of St.Louis, in the east of France, with the addition of this modern outbuilding. Inside, the outbuilding has been styled on a very modern and contemporary palette, soft stone and neutral colours with minimalistic furniture. This cute outhouse has full floor to ceiling windows to gaze out upon the garden and contains a dining room and kitchen. A very nice feature is the window that has been placed into the glass; it almost frames the garden like a picture and adds a bit of character to the building.
