Discover 20 Ways to Recreate the Dining Room in Classic Style

16 November, 2013  |  Dining Room

For people, eating meals in the presence of good friends and close families can be a very intimate experience. As a result, the dining area has been treated with kid clothes by interior designers over the past few centuries. Formal and elegant, peaceful and still, these 20 photos of classic interior design in the dining space transmit strong notions of general warmth and togetherness. Exposed ceiling beams and bold patterned area rugs make an appearance in some of the aforementioned dining rooms. Heavy chandeliers hang from architecturally complex ceilings as antique dining room tables sit adorned with carefully constructed place settings. Thick glass vases are paired with lush flower bouquets and single leaf sprigs. The delicateness that each accessory is placed with is probably the most important element in classic dining room interior design.
