Dark Structured Modern House With Minimalist Interior

Dark Structured Modern House With Minimalist Interior

By now, you should know better than to judge a book by its cover, but sometimes exterior home design can be purposefully misleading. This house sports an eerily dark exterior, a traditional sloped roof and vinyl siding. However, multiple elements make the house extremely modern. Three glass pane windows hold a surprise set of glass double French doors that lead to the backyard. Beyond the doors lie a white room with an orange colored dining room set. Glossy white countertops, ethereally chic glass lighting fixtures and whimsical, sheer white curtains also accent the living space. Just off to the side there is a contemporary black living room set. The bedroom has been constructed to resemble a room in a box, with another set of glass pane double French doors leading out. Designed by Erik Andersson Architects.
