Sue Murray first studied fine arts at the National Art School and in In 1982 she left Australia for the USA where she completed an undergraduate degree at the Rhode Island School of Design. Returing to Australia in 1988 Sue began Lecturing in fine art photography at Sydney College of the Arts, Sydney University and at TAFE NSW. While still teaching Sue undertook and completed a Master of Art at the College of Fine Arts, University of NSW. Sue continued her exhibiting career with several public Art projects funded by the Australia Council for the Arts including “Bordered Lives” which was exhibited at the Australian Museum.

Sue has been Exhibiting since the late 1980’s both in group and solo exhibitions as well as undertaking commissioned projects including the National Museum, Canberra as well as Liverpool and Bankstown Hospitals.

Sue also works as a commercial photographer Imagine It specializing in resorts, interiors and architecture including the Hayman Island Resort, Queensland. Sue’s more recent projects have been to photograph The Arajilla Resort, Lord Howe Island, Tower Estate in the Hunter Valley and Corinna Wilderness Lodge in Tasmania.
