Sterling Master Bathroom
This master bathroom remodel began from two primary requirements which were a basic functional desire to remove the existing unused soaking tub to create a larger shower space and to create a new modern bathroom that reflected the true personality of the homeowners. To minimize costs it was important to keep the existing rough plumbing locations intact. A few subtle changes to the floor plan allowed the overall feel and flow of the bathroom space to be improved. A new window opening was created as a result of the new shower configuration enabling the opportunity to bring in valuable daylight to energize the space. New artificial lighting was incorporated to accent the client’s original artwork. Lastly, a simple but bold palette of materials created this spa-like environment that allowed the space to become a relaxing retreat.
