This project involved the full remodel of a modest Victorian house in a tight urban setting. The existing house had minimal windows, small rooms and a vaguely railroad floor plan. We created two entertaining zones at each end of the house with enlarged bedrooms and an office in the middle. The rear zone has a direct connection to a walled courtyard that serves as an extension of the living space through a row of doors and continuous flooring from inside out. Banks of windows, updated materials and a master bathroom were added. The work was a collaboration with Ian Stallings Interior Design.
