Established on July 1, 2003, Neumann Mendro Andrulaitis Architects is located twelve miles south of Santa Barbara in the seaside community of Carpinteria, California. The firm's senior partner, Andy Neumann, founded his former company, Andy Neumann Architect, in 1993 at the firm's current location. For the prior seventeen years, he was a founder and partner of Seaside Union Architects of Santa Barbara where Dave Mendro and Mary Andrulaitis first worked with him. Neumann Mendro Andrulaitis Architects defines itself as a design firm emphasizing quality design irrespective of the scale or scope of the project. We offer comprehensive services from design conception through construction including planning, programming, design, regulatory agency approval and construction administration services.
EXPERIENCE
The core design staff has worked together for many years and has a broad work experience. We have successfully completed a wide range of building types including residential, commercial and civic projects. Our work ranges from small-scale renovations to multi-million dollar projects. Maintaining a balance between type and scope of our work allows us the ability to solve larger complex planning problems while retaining a humanistic philosophy and sense of scale. Our client base ranges from individual homeowners to internationally based businesses. Completed projects are located not only throughout California, but also in Hawaii, Washington, Connecticut and Italy.
