Abstract Wood Exterior on a Contemporary English Home

Abstract Wood Exterior on a Contemporary English Home

2 December, 2013  |  Exterior, House Interior

Causing both reflection and confusion, the peculiar appearance of this home was planned deliberately, as indicated by its built-in single shutter on the upper floor. Appearing both outside and in, the imaginative wooden exterior scaffolding is a fixed and permanent item that is simply inescapable. A wooden kitchen island, hardwood floors and numerous other accents made of wood appear in different points within the home. On the top level of this UK house, a well decorated rooftop patio is made easily accessible by a long, sliding glass door. In another area, a children’s play room has been fashioned with some bright green accents and a full wall shelf. Countless toys, two plastic chairs and two simple wall desks keep the youngest occupants of this home fully occupied. Designed by Paul Archer Design.
